Blue Moon

I am a ceramic artist and and self taught fibre junkie. Dyeing…Spinning…Felting…Weaving…Knitting and Crochet. I love it all! I have even turned some crochet pieces into ceramic!

My studio is in the middle of a cherry orchard surrounded by mountains in beautiful, Creston, BC.

In ceramics, I love colours and layering different techniques to give depth to the surface. This also works with dyeing fibres with just as much fun a lot more instant gratification!

I search out high quality and unique fibres needed by fibre artists for the texture and lustre desired for beautiful hand spun yarns and felted projects. Quality workmanship, attention to detail and a sense of humour are at the core of all my work.

I can supply your habit.

Brickbubble

We decided to start brickbubble to indulge our creative side. Brickbubble is primarily a handmade art based business. Many of our pieces are laser cut or engraved and all of it has our handiwork in it. As graphic artists we have an extensive background in art, design and layout and created Brickbubble as a way to express our creativity. We are excited by the positive reception we have received for our work.

You might be wondering where we got our name — well here it is… ever since starting our family, we have felt that our home has become a bit of a bubble. We spend more time enjoying home life and routine becomes easy and comfortable within our house and home-based work studio. The “brick” stems from the fact that our house is a retro 1970’s brick build. We live on just over 3 wholesome acres in central Alberta, west of Stony Plain, with our 14 year old son Ian and our 7 year old daughter Ivy. Take a peek at our online store,  we have a mash-up of creations, we mostly love to utilize our laser cutter and engraver. But we have lots of other unique ideas and designs for sale. Custom work is always an option, drop us an email if you any questions or requests!
